We would love for you to volunteer your time and expertise to the PTA. We have several opportunities with varying levels of time commitments to meet your needs. The following board and volunteer opportunities are open to all PTA members. All board members and volunteers will receive training and orientation.
Here is a list of our board member and volunteer openings:
Board Positions- Board members are responsible for organizing work and orienting volunteers. They are required to attend at least 3 PTA board meetings- Second Tuesday of the Month from 6:30- 8pm in the Kibler Library where they are able to vote on PTA board issues. Being on the board is very fulfilling and the time commitment is probably lower than you think. if we do not fill these positions we will not be able to hold the events or maintain the programs, so please volunteer if you can. Openings-
Volunteer Positions- Volunteer positions typically have less of a time commitment than board members. PTA members can volunteer for one or multiple events. Volunteer work can be done in the day or evenings (event specific). Volunteers are not required to attend PTA board meetings, but they are strongly encouraged to attend 3 general meetings per year where they can vote on general membership PTA matters. Art Print (Reflections Program)- The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. (click for a full description)
